ABLE The Global Partner Sale ethical and sustainable bags and shoes

ABLE Global Partner Sale

As I’m sure you’ve read, garment workers and the manufacturing facilities they rely on are struggling to make ends meet as brands cancel orders or refuse to pay their bills. While many sustainable and ethical brands have done their best to continue to pay workers, they are not immune to the same financial burdens larger corporations have. In fact, in many cases, they are even more vulnerable.

I have shared how to support fair trade artisans through direct aid, but I also wanted to share that ethical clothing and accessories brand, ABLE, has stood by their partners by paying for 100% of finished products despite dwindling sales.

As a result, they will be offering up to 50% off brand new products on May 13-14.

Last fall, ABLE partnered with fellow Nashville-based brand, Nisolo, to publish their lowest wages and encourage other companies to do the same. They offer beautiful handbags, jewelry, denim, a full clothing line, and shoes.

I’ll update this post with more information as I have it.

P.S. Just because I know I’ve suddenly had to rely on them for business-casual clothing for my summer internship, I will also draw your attention to Everlane’s updated Choose What You Pay Sale.
