Ethical and Sustainable 4th of July Sales 2021

Sustainable 4th of July sales are kind of weird, aren’t they?

Patriotism in an age of increasing nationalism is fraught, to say the least. I haven’t sorted out my thoughts on it yet, but I’ve been chatting with people about what it could mean to love a country that has hurt so many.

Maybe it’s like loving a troubled family member. You do what you can to offer support, you remove yourself from unhealthy dynamics, and you do your own work to ensure that the family name can be redeemed.

Of course, the history of sales associated with national holidays is its own beast to dissect. For now, I’ll simply share some sales from my favorite ethical and sustainable brands.

No matter where you sit with this national holiday, I hope you have a few days of rest and enjoyment!
