Call it what you want, but olive/army/khaki green is having a moment in my closet.
It started last summer with this MATTER Prints romper, and then went wild when I got a chance to try to Everlane Tiny Tee ahead of time (it just launched today). Paired with a vintage Liz Claiborne backpack purse and the Everlane Day Sandals, I’m ready to blend in with the underbrush of a Virginia forest.
While not green, this gingham skirt is a favorite find from a recent excursion to Goodwill. It was saturated in the stench of cigarettes – it was even slightly yellow in color – but after 3 washes and a soak in white vinegar, it’s the perfect summer skirt.
Everlane Tiny Tee Review
The tiny tee is a straightforward take on my childhood’s baby tee. Cropped all around, it’s meant to be form fitting at the shoulder and bust, and hit higher up on the hip. The textured knit cotton also feels slightly vintage, and the color gives this army vibes all around.
I went with my usual Everlane size for cotton tees, a Medium, and it is definitely still fitted throughout. One issue I have with this style is that the narrow shoulders make this pull up and then “sit” on my bust like a shelf, which means I have to pull it down a lot. But if you were petite, I could see this style fitting much better than their typical crew necks. All in all, I’d say this fits as intended for the style, but I’ll probably stick with the crewnecks in the future.
