Ethical and Sustainable Labor Day Sales 2022

Though sales strategies are often a gimmick, there’s one big reason I trust Labor Day Sales. Unlike mid-season sales, Labor Day represents a true end of season. While small businesses can stretch themselves too thin during mid-season sales, these ethical and sustainable labor day sales are more likely to help clear overstock.

Companies are discounting their spring and summer merchandise to make way for new fall inventory. For that reason, it’s a great time to stock up on shorts, sandals, dresses, and lightweight garments.

If you live in a place that’ll be hot until December, you can even wear your sale finds now! Or, if you know you really like something, you can buy it to wear once the weather warms up in the spring.

I’m pretty strategic when it comes to end-of-season sales, because there’s nothing worse than buying a trendy item that you no longer love after you get it out of winter storage. I look for staples and all-weather items, like t-shirts, midi skirts, and closed-toe shoes. I also stock up on multiples of things I’ve been wearing for years.
