Hey look! I took an outfit photo! It’s been awhile.

I’m not sure if I will keep this up, but one thing I’ve really missed about taking near-daily outfit photos is getting a better read on how an outfit is composed: how it fits, how it goes together, and whether or not I feel like myself in it.

I feel like spending a bit of time cobbling together these posts will give me a renewed sense of confidence in my sartorial choices. Also, after almost burning out at work about a month ago, it is very clear I need restorative hobbies that are just for fun. Blogging had been that for me for many years. Let’s see if it can be again.

Today was a quiet day with a lot of people still getting into the groove of work after Memorial Day. I didn’t meet with any staff or parishioners today – and I had no services to officiate – so it was a collarless day.

I bought this bag partly because it caught my eye while I was walking through J.C. Penney, and partly because it was named the “Leah.”

This shirt is from Gap Factory, but I have an almost identical one from Gap. I might do a side-by-side review to show the difference between them, which I suspect can be a kind of model of what makes “factory” and “outlet” lines discounted (hint: less fabric).
