Top 15 Ethical and Sustainable Brands for Fall

Top 15 Ethical and Sustainable Brands for Fall

Ah, fall vibes. As cheugy as it may be, fall holds an enchanting combination of possibility and nostalgia. I can’t help but enjoy thinking about crunchy leaves and crisp air, even though it means winter is on the horizon. With that in mind, I wanted to share ethical and sustainable brands that offer great clothing, shoes and accessories for fall.

Of course, these brands are all-season. So it’s not as if you can’t find versatile items that will work all year. But when I think of fall, I think of sweaters, denim, (sustainable) leather, beautiful boots, all-weather gear, and seasonal prints like plaid.

The fact is that some ethical and sustainable brands are much better at this than others. Part of the reason is that it takes proper equipment and trained makers to produce more technical clothing and accessories.

That means that many slow fashion brands are much better equipped for summer dresses and breezy spring separates than they are for tailored, all-weather clothing.

The brands listed here offer things that just work for fall: from cozy home clothes to classic denim to warm jackets.
